FICTITIOUS BUSINESS NAME PUBLICATIONS
A fictitious business name, or Doing Business As (DBA), allows you to operate your business under a name other than your own. After filing at the County Clerk and paying the fee, you will be provided with a fictitious name certificate. Bring this certificate (unsigned) to us and we will help you meet the publishing requirements.
Please note: No fictitious business name may include the words "corporation," "Inc.," "incorporation" or "Corp." unless it's a corporation registered with the Secretary of State.

$2 for each name past three
If we file:
$112 check or credit card
$102 cash
$58 county clerk fee is separate also collect an additional $2 for each name past two
Fictitious name publications will be published four times and must start within 30 days of original filing date.
NAME CHANGE - ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE
We file affidavit 4050 Main Street Riverside Court House ONLY - or customer files - call for pick up/mail
Process 8-9 weeks to complete publication and affidavit before hearing date.

ABANDONMENT OF FBN
If you plan on retiring a Fictitious Business Name (FBN) you will need to publish a notice of abandonment. An abandonment is a public statement that the owner or business is no longer as the registered Fictitious Business Name.
We need the unsigned/plain copy of the abandonment in order to help you.
